RICHMOND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT PARKING DECKS

Serving millions of passengers each year, the Richmond International Airport is a transportation hub with non-stop flights to major domestic destinations and connecting flights to destinations worldwide.

 

To accommodate the increasing number of passengers and their parking needs, the Airport partnered with Kjellstrom + Lee to build 2 parking decks, totaling 865,000 SF with 2400 parking spaces. Each deck  consists of post tensioned, cast in place concrete frames connected by an elevated crossover and is connected to the main terminal building by a covered walkway.
