The American Civil War Museum at Tredegar
Housed in the 1861 Tredegar Gun Foundry, the Richmond Civil War Museum stands as a testament to those "who decided America’s future" and the war that laid its foundation.
To maintain that foundation, the Richmond Historic Riverfront Foundation partnered with Kjellstrom & Lee on two separate occassions. The first was to renovate 4 Tredegar Iron Works buildings into museum and exhibit space. The second, 5 years later, was to refurbish the existing facilities including sitework, additional exhibit areas, a bookstore, new restroom facilities for tour groups, plus new handicap entrance, stairs and elevator.
